Based on the information that was gathered during VAE project’s first phase the need for this route was noticed among tour operators and VAE companies.

The Arctic Route will start operating daily both ways, from December 1st until the end of March, between Tromsø, Lyngen, Alta, Muonio, Kittilä, Rovaniemi, Tornio, Haparanda Luleå, Kiruna, Narvik, Tromsø.
